Jonathan P. Soifer
Jonathan clerked for Polster Lieder while attending Washington University School of Law and joined the firm in 1989 after passing the Missouri Bar. He served as managing member for the firm from 2010 through 2012 and after that he served on the management committee for the firm. In August 2014, Jonathan was once again elected managing member for the firm.
Jonathan provides intellectual property legal services for many individuals and small, medium and large companies as well as major corporations. He concentrates his practice in patent, trademark and copyright matters. He has extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting patent and trademark applications. He conducts patentability and freedom-to-operate searches, infringement and validity studies, prepares and negotiates licenses and other agreements, and conducts trademark clearance searches.
