Lionel joined the Polster & Polster firm after law school, was made a partner in 1973 and a named partner in 1976.  He has focused his practice in patent, trademark and intellectual property law for more than 40 years. He has been ranked both as one of the Best Lawyers in America and as a Missouri Super Lawyer by the peer-review rating service Super Lawyers® over multiple years.

Professional and Personal Profile:

Lionel has been active in local government for many years, including terms on the Zoning Commission, Board of Alderman and City Attorney for the City of Ballwin, Missouri.   He also has been long active in the Rotary Club of St. Louis, and is a past President of that organization.

Prior to law school, Lionel was a NROTC scholar with duty assignments as Assistant Electronics Material Officer for 7th Fleet flag ship; Destroyer Operations Officer supervising electronic technicians and radiomen personnel; Navigator and Fleet Operations Officer of the deck.

Lionel enjoys skiing and golf as recreational pastimes.
